Founder Cornelius Dawson
Cornelius Dawson is the CEO & founder of Red Rose Karez non-profit organization. He has been involved in numerous aspects of the community: Tarrant County Advocate Program, All Star Youth Sports and Arlington A&M Elite Basketball Organization. He has been a mentor, advocate, and coach for well over a decade.

Christmas Event 2023
A Red Rose Karezmas at the East Pole” is a community giving event on December 21, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Elkhart, providing food and toys to registered families in the Elkhart/Slocum ISD area. It’s a collaborative effort by local churches and Toys for Tots to support the community during the holidays.
Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Everyone came out to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Women’s Basketball Showcase Event in Dallas on October 16. The event was presented by A.C.T.I.O.N.
Youth Advocates
November 5th come join us at Mosier View Ct. In Fort Worth Texas. Sponsors include the Tarrant County Food Bank Target and more
Youth Athletics
Host sporting events for girls & boys throughout the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex & East Texas(Elkhart) from grade levels 3rd-12th. Give student athletes opportunities to come showcase their skills & abilities with the best competition in the city.
Helping Others
Feed individuals in low income homes from newborns to the elderly. Oversee after school programs in low income apartment complexes where students can get tutoring, mentoring, engaged in fun activities & get a meal while focusing on their education.
We Kare Programs
Partner with the schools & churches in the inner city & East Texas(Elkhart) to mentor the youth to make sure their staying on the right track with their education, behavior as well staying active in a positive way.
Kare for Kids
We aim to send students off to different summer camps where they can become more social, work on their communication as well as do a lot of team building activities to insure they’re engaged.
